The Stelvio National Park is one of the largest and most interesting high-alpine nature reserves in Europe. The area designated as a national park in 1935 covers a total of approximately 530 km², including the impressive Ortles-Cevedale Group and extending from the Engadin National Park in the north of Switzerland through South Tyrol, Trentino and all the way to the Adamello Regional Park in Lombardy.
Rich green meadows and forests, rare edelweiss, remote and peaceful mountain landscapes, marmots, deer, eagles and bearded vultures: During your visit to the National Park you can immerse into the diversity of its alpine nature and wildlife, which reveals all of its facets from the valley to the highest peaks at 3,900 m.
